Cap to the other side of the world ! Sydney, here we come

Today, we decided to go big and we are taking you on the other side of the world, a paradise for water sports who attracts a lot of Europeans every month : Sydney.

Famous to be one of the most beautiful city in the world, Sydney, also known as Sin City, really (really) seduced us. So, being good friends, we wanted to share with you our best tips to spend 3 marvelous days in the city and enjoy all it can offers.

Before sharing with you our favorites spots for 3 days in Sydney, let’s see what is so special about that place it makes our hearts shiver and occupy our dreams. Biggest city of Australia, Sydney can be proud to have THE most beautiful natural bay of the world (yes, just like that !). With more than 300 days of sunshine per year, it is the perfect city to boost your vitamin C levels, perfect your tan and show off your most beautiful swimsuits (see where we are going ? ? )
Cosmopolite, Sydney is also reputed for its inhabitants : simple, warm and cool (we said cool, but we didn’t talk about the young surfers …). Anyway, enjoy yourself and switch to a Peace Attitude.

Day 1: Let’s discover the city

Begin your stay by a visit of the city and one of its best point of view : The Royal Botanical Garden. From here, you can admire the two symbols of Sydney (not to be missed, of course) : the Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera. Take a moment to wander within the 20 hectares of the botanical garden and appreciate the peace and sweetness of life in the heart of the city.

In the evening, the Opera is the perfect spot to admire the sunset, a Mojito in your hand and sitting at the Opera’s bar, a bubbly place you can only love. You will cross path with a lot of Australian, but also tourists from all over the globe : a place chic and full of life that can’t be missed !

After that first drink, you can’t stop there. Find your way to the district of The Rocks, the most ancient of Sydney : you will discover an incredible variety of restaurants, pubs, museum and shops where you can enjoy a true Australian night out. Our advice: give a try to the cocktail Sydney Slinger, it’s a keeper!

Day 2: Let’s go to the beach

Departure for Bondi Beach, west of city hall and mythic beach where surfers, locals and tourists meet. Put on your best sneakers, shorts and your favorite australian bikini Bond-Eye and Seafolly (we stay in the theme) and go on to explore the adjacent beaches following Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk, a 6 km hiking route across beaches, swimming pools, rocks and parks. You will meet numerous joggers, all more charming than the other.

We recommend you to start your journey by Coogee (there is a lot of bus who can take you there) to end by a stunning view on the Bondi Icebergs Club, famous for its pool standing over the immensity of the Pacific Ocean for more than a century. Stop there to take a break, sip on a coffee or enjoy the pool, it is wonderful. Fun fact, you can sometimes find some fishes or even some baby sharks swimming in the pool! A wave can appear really fast, and there is only a wall between the sea and the pool …

Day 3: Follow your desires

What are you for the mood for today ? Visiting or chilling all day ? No matter what you will choose, treat yourself and be happy for your last day in Sydney !

Option n°1 : Your new tan after your walk along Coogee and Bandy makes you wish for more? Do you want to show off your new swimsuit Melissa Odabash? Rendez-vous on Manly Beach, a little outside of Sydney but as stunning as Bondi beach.

Option n°2 : Are you thirsty for breathtaking landscapes? Go on the conquest of the Blues Mountains, a must-see for all Nature lovers. True Australian wonder, Sydney will conquer your heart, we are sure of it…

Christmas under the sun of Sydney!

The idea of spending Christmas under 35° leaves you dreamy ? Because, with everything else, the Australian truly mastered the art of Christmas decorations, crazy, showy, unexpected, but overall, absolutely amazing. We wander along the shops of the lively mall David Jones, we stop for a moment to admire the Christmas tree of the Queen Victoria Building or we dream in front of the bright parade of the Harbour Bridge…

New year in Sydney is also way more magic than anything you saw until now: Imagine yourself standing in the bay and watching the most famous (and fabulous) firework of the world. You will then look on top of the world…

Have a wonderful journey !
